I bought that trash set that sony put out. SGA and SG1 and BSG are the only TV shows worth owning on DVD damnt.

 8 9 10 were shot in hd. But all thats been shown is SD on SciFi, but in other countries they have shown the HD versions.

DId the dvds get the HD versions? I havent watched my copies lately and ive been drinking, so just tell me here.

season 9 did for sure but season 8 did not get the HD version for the DVD. I'm hoping the go back and get it on a HD format soon. Since SciFi Channel is gonna go fully digital in April. So that might mean HD versions of SG1 SGA as well as some of the newer shows and repeats of Enterprise might be broadcast in HD.

SG-1 is over at season 10 tho right. Is Atlantis set for Season 4? its a really good spinoff

Yeah 10 is it for SG1 but there will be a movie mini series ala Farscape's ending. Which is kind of sad and funny. Theres also rumors of two spinoffs. One being a Bounty hunter like stargate show and another show focusing on the builders of the stargate aka a prequel. SGA has funding from other countries outside the SciFi channel world. Dont know when it will air though.

SGA and SG1 have been airing out of the country for 2 months now or so. But in the states they wont pick back up till April 13th
