The story is beyond stupid, the dialog was written by a nerdy sixth grader who really wanted to sound cool, and there's so much motion blur its ridiculous. Its also short, really short. For the money you spend buying this (about $10-20) you can get more gameplay time out of savvy use of the same money at a decent arcade.
Its also really fricking fun. The slo-mo effects are very, very in love with themselves, but when it looks as cool as it does here its really hard to complain. I have yet to see a cooler slo-motion videogame explosion then I have here. The challenge level is pitch perfect on the "just-hard-enough" side of things to keep me playing.
The beat em up sections aren't so hot. But they are short and few enough to make their presence bearable.
Its a full serving of awesome with a large slice of cheese. Give it a shot sometime, yeah?
