There are better pictures. I think the only thing they fucked up is the jaw. If that were better it would be a pretty nice costume.

The other pictures give me more faith it'll look nice once the CG is in full effect.

Why are all the signs pointing toward this being a cliffhanger when it's supposedly Raimi's last film in the series?

Raimi might leave, but there's no way in hell they'll stop this series.

How they're gonna handle all the main "talent" leaving without reinventing the series will be something to look out for, though.

At the end of Spider-Man 3, Spidey's face will be beaten bloody beyond recognition. At the beginning of Spidey 4 (to be directed by Brett Ratner from a Kevin Smith script), they remove the bandages from Peter's face to reveal Jake Gyllenhaal. Aunt May half-jokingly comments that he looks 'a little different', but Jake-Peter just smiles and says that he may look a bit different, but he still feels like 'It's web-slingin' time!' Then he'll look towards the camera and give a slight wink.
