PD your dads a dentist right? I need some help

So for the past three days my right lower jaw has been throbing like hell. I've been using anbasol on the affected molar and gum area. What tips or tricks do you know to help the pain. I dont get seen for 3 weeks. I have to be knocked out to see a dentist.

I'm not trying to make fun of you or anything, so don't take this the wrong way:

I do a lot of filing work for the practice, and through talking to my mom and some of the hygenists I learned that they see a lot of overweight people who are literally eating through their teeth. So if you drink a lot of pop (Coke for instance) while eating a whole bunch that could cause it.

Also are your gums inflamed?

PD the gum is inflamed and very red  I gave up corn syrup based sodas i'm only drinking sparkling water tea or juice. But I havent gone to a dentist in 6 years.  I've not had insurance to get checked out until this january.

There was a little kid who had something similar to what you're describing who died a couple of weeks back because his parents couldn't afford to take him to the dentist.  The nerves in your teeth go straight to your brain.  DON'T FUCK WITH YOUR TEETH.

Sounds like your lower teeth aren't being brushed properly; when you don't clean between them bacteria gets in there and inflames the area. Flossing can fix this. Personally I don't floss alot; instead I just use this nice, small bristle brush after I brush with a regular toothbrush. It gets between your teeth easily. Your dentist will probably give you on after your checkup.

Going to the dentist regularly is very important dude. You should go for a cleaning at least once every four months. If you have pario you should go every months; from what you describe it sounds like you have pario

Yeah Ichi i know its serious shit. I didnt feel the pain and wonder if its been going on for a few weeks cause i've been on Codine. So this could have been hanging around for longer than three days. But i called to get an apointment immediatly with the only dentist that will put me under. I'd freak out if i wasnt loaded with drugs and put to sleep. So now i have to wait 3 weeks. I'm gonna call tomorrow and see if they cant up my apointment.

Malek i've got a horrible fear of dentists. And the fact my mother never payed up for me to get checked out sucks. She had 3 years. The last three have been on my own terms. And thats been cause of not going to school fully and shit like that. But now that i can afford it. I just gotta get over the fear.

I use a sonicare toothbrush, and a electric pick flosser PD i take very good care of my teeth. I have had damage though and cavities. I'm just hoping its not root canals or shit like that. Seeing my girl go through that was so painful just to watch.

Yea I've never understood why people are afraid of dentists, for obvious reasons lol. My dad works on me, and when when he doesn't it's always one of his friends from dental school lol, many whom I've known all my life.

But dude even if you're scared you have to go. If you have pario you need to get that checked out immediately. I doubt you'll need it, but pario surgery can cost up to $5000

No one goes to the dentist every 4 months PD.  Everyone goes once or twice a year, never more.
