I have a My Fair Lady poster hanging in my house back home (not in Japan). 

I love going to Broadway shows, especially the musicals, but also dramas.  I saw a Steppenwolf Theater production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest about seven years back with Gary Sinise in the lead.  It was an amazing performance, and I was in the third or fourth row so I was really up close.

I've also seen Broadway productions of Beauty & The Beast, Kiss Me Kate, The Music Man, Bells Are Ringing, and a few others.  I have an extensive collection of show tunes and I just looooove to listen to them while I'm riding on the train.  Sometimes I feel like the entire train is going to burst out into a choreographed dance number!!!!!

I saw the Lion King on Broadway. Actually, it was at the Atlanta Fox Theatre. It was really good though.

I do, but not when people sing tunes from Cabaret or Les Mis during karaoke. That sucks total.

My wife is a theatrically trained singer, and she's one of those uber-hardcore Broadway fanatics. Next to my Yoko Kanno autographed Japanese theatrical Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door poster in the den are posters autographed by the original Broadway cast of Rent, and one from A Chorus Line. What a freakish combination we are.

The only musicals I've been able to get into are A New Brain, Hedwig & The Angry Inch, and Avenue Q.

Everyone should Hedwig performed live, it's a truly magical experience.
