Most people seem to like me irl and don't understand my behavior. The problem is very simple, I get panic attacks whenever I talk to someone. I rather be miserable alone than miserable with others. At least when I'm alone I don't have to be so self-conscious.

How do you think you'd do in law school with this problem though? Or when you get out and start looking for a job?

But yea I have similar problems. But with me, I have no problem talking to people. But I'm almost deathly afraid to start conversations. I'll sit there thinking "damn, just ask her if there was any homework due" yet usually I'll sit there without asking. I'm getting better at it, but I still do poorly.

Everyone I know tells me I'm extremely quiet. I remember going to one of my female friend's 16th birthday a few years ago, where I first met her parents. While everyone else at the party (there were only like 5 people) was very loud, I was laid back and quite. Instead of talking with the other party goers (all of whom I knew) I began the party by hanging out with her younger brothers and watching cartoons. Then when we went to see POTC1 all the boys were supposed to sit together and the girls were to sit seperately, but her mom called her during the movie and told her to sit next to me because "he looks lonely". In a dark theater
