A few years ago I saw the Bobby Darin biopi 'Beyond The Sea' starring Kevin Spacey. The film itself was only average, but the music really intrigued me (and I'm sure this is what Spacey wanted in the first place), so I bought The Legendary Bobby Darin CD about a year and a half ago, and now I really, really dig his music. He just has such an amazing voice and he sounds like he's having so much fun singing. I like Sinatra and Martin too, but neither of them has the sheer exuberance that Darin has. I think I like his interpretations of standards and Broadway songs more than any of his other works.
Anyone else here dig Darin?
