MSN reader's embarassing revelation...
« on: August 23, 2006, 03:40:03 PM »
:lol The dicks at MSN put this board post on the front page of their Lifestyle section above their editorial on Tom Cruise...

Quote from: MSN Board Chick
My husband and I have been married for 5 years and lived together for 1 year prior to our marriage.  Since we married he has in the past 3 years started talking like a baby to me.  At first it was just occasionally, now it is all the time and it is driving me insane to put it mildly.  He even walks like a baby shuffling his feet and pokes his lips out and talks very much like goo goo ga ga.  Now dont laugh it is really annoying.  I tell him all the time I cannot stand this any longer but he continues to do it.  I have used every possible hint or blatent statement possible to get him to stop from being subtle to just telling him I wasnt going to have sex with a baby so he better start talking like a man.  Ive asked him repeatedly why he does this and all he tells me is he is relieving stress from work.  I think he is either trying to cover up something or he has some serious intimacy issues which isnt how it usually has been.  He is really bad about doing this in the bedroom.  Any advice ?

:lol

Actually, work stress CAN make you do weird shit that annoys your wife. When I get stressed, I cuss a LOT more and tend to needle her with trash talk. I've learned to stop doing that shit in the last five years or so, but it takes some real effort.

Like, how?  I am imagining something like, "Fuck woman, best pick up yo' game in the kitchen or I'm going to kick yo' ass to da curb.  Sheeeeeiittt." :pimp

Yeah, work stresses me out from time to time.  I think I can pin point the day my youth died when work could actually call me well after I had punched out so to speak.

I just caught a cold (in August!!), I think as a result of work-related BS.  One of the things I hate about freelancing is the fact that I have to fight hard to emotionally-rationalize having a normal work week.   :-\

Trash talk is awesome in a relationship, and it can really defuse a lot of stress.  As long as you and your partner are equally thick-skinned. :D

Or both people can just get totally drunk, yell at each other, then forget, or want to forget it ever happened.
