Stretchy Arm Ninja Guy + Sumos = More Obnoxious Than FoC

Jesus christ this combo is a real bitch to beat in Samurai Warriors 2 Empires. I cant imagine doing it with a melee general cause im using my custom Archer General and the only chance i have is to get distance then use my big charge shot till the sumos are dead.

It IS still pretty fun ordering your 9 officers to swarm 1 or 2 generals haha.

I really want to play this game, but there's no Japanese 360 version of it that's getting released, nor is an English Asian version coming out AFAIK.  Looks the PS2 is the only way to go...

I dunno; I don't even remember any escort missions with the characters I played!  I can't say I ever had a problem with the game A.I. in SW2...if something is really that much of a pain in the ass, put the difficulty down for that stage.

Fuuma is fun as hell to play as.

I just started playing Sengoku Basara 2 again last night.  I can't believe how much fucking better it is than every Koei Musou game out there...the characters have so much more personality to them, the weapons are far cooler, stage design is much more varied...etc.  So awesome.

The combat system is better, but the game lacks yue ying, so ill have to side with DW5+Xtreme and Empires

I agree.  I hated the original game, Drinky.  It took a LOT for me to buy Sengoku Basara 2 last year, and I'm glad I did...it's leaps and bounds better than the original game.  It IS still kinda kooky though...but that's part of its charm.  It has some wacky stuff going on at times, but I find that much more enjoyable than the Musou games' boring ass dialogue and cut scenes.

I didn't even know that Capcom raped the American version of the original...if they ever release SB2, they should NOT call it "Devil Kings 2."
