Has anybody here played Resident Evil 0?

A friend let me borrow it and I'm going to start it later tonight.

What are your thoughts about the game?

I played about 3 hours in before I traded in my GC the first time. Its neat, and I think its a 'good game'. However I dont think REmake or RE0 hold up against Code Veronica, which honestly should have got a Gamecube release too. Just for the sake of giving them some of the best RE since RE1.

Ill say again, RE2 and RE4 and REmake may rock from a technical standpoint, but they ARENT really what RE1 was.

Its ok, Its no where near as good as remake.  It kind of like 3 and cv in that it uses basically the same formula from the first one, so if your not tired of that go for it and enjoy.

Eh, RE2 was the peak of the series in terms of popularity and I really, really loved RE2.  It rocked.  RE3 was kind of crap.  RE:CV was amazing, though.  I love that game.  The series hasn't come close since that one, though.

I liked RE:0 a lot, but it didn't really make sense storyline wise for Rebecca to be pretty competent and able to handle her own in zero to what she was in regular resident evil.

It looked better then REmake and it's scary.  I think you can beat it in a few days.

It was awesome still own it. Its so much better once you get the rocket launcher tho I ran out of ammo way too many times and had to back track alot.

It's good. REmake and 0 have awesome atmosphere. Shame it's only 480i though.

Every RE game is on GC.

I rather enjoyed it, but I played it a couple of years ago.  I would imagine it would be a bit difficult to go back to it after Resident Evil 4 produced a great game it the series without all the bullshit.

Also, I really didn't like managing the two players at the same time, even though it was sometimes novel and added some neat twists here and there.
REmake was better.  CV was better, but RE0 ain't bad, it just isn't great.
