Where am I again? GAF sucks because it's been over moderated in some places and under moderated in other. EB is beginning to go balls up because of an influx of hideously annoying posters, all of whom are widely agreed upon to be a problem. The moderations response? LOCK.

Let's get some love back in here. Let's not get on our high horses. Let's just gather in the square for an old fashion, wild west hanging. Justice is done, people feel better and the balance is restored.

Man, I saw that thread. I mean. When an entire forum says: "Hey, mods, please do xyz" and your only response is to ban, them, well. That's just as bad as it ever was on GAF.

The problem isn't just the awful posters.

It's the people whine EXCESSIVELY about the awful posters (read: Cheebs)

This place seems to be too much about the personality clashes, and not enough about the discussion.

Honestly, we have a good atmosphere around here at times, but I don't know if I've truly had one significant discussion on here. We don't really seem to have much substance, with the exception of movie discussion threads.

I mean. I like it here 95% of the time. It's a great forum, plenty of love in a tight little community. The problem with a tight little community is that you notice the fuckwads that much more. A handful of people have managed to make this forum a pain in the ass to read and everyone knows it.

Willco already stated that he wants all complaint threads to end. If you have any problems with the moderation (or anything else site related) to PM him about it. Creating these kinda threads just creat a lynch mob effect with no good outcomes (as seen in the past, and present).
