He wasn't like the Bond of the movies in the past. NO ONE WANTED THAT. This is the Bond of the Ian Fleming original. The movie bond evolved into a jokey caricature. No one wants to keep that old hokey movie bond that was of the Brosnan ilk. No one but you it seems.

I said that the last movies had decent action as their only good thing and that's something that was missing from CS (aside from a few scenes). I always hated James Bond even when I was a kid and that's why CS should have been a lot better than it was. It was ruined by a crappy story (I'm not comparing this to the past Bonds now) and no drama whatsoever. It really felt like a dumb summer movie, when it was supposed to be a lot fucking better than a dumb summer movie.

In the book the line was used a bit differently. Like in the movie, Bond does fall for her and he's about ready to marry her until he notices questionable things about her personality–she starts to get cold and doesn't really consult in Bond anymore. They then talk things out and make love, yada yada, and she says she'll tell him the truth the next day. He goes into her room the next morning and she killed herself with some poison. He is really depressed for some moments then realizes from the note she left that she was playing him the whole time. He gets angry at this and this makes his character evolve into the non-trusting Bond that shows up in the next few novels. He calls up MI6 and to tell them that she was a double agent. The other end asked "was?" and Bond replies, "Yes dammit, was. The bitch is dead now." So they're extremely similar to each other, both medium's lines, but there's just a small difference.

I'm just saying that the line is just cool. He says it in the movie in a way like: "Welp, the girl was a player, but the bitch is dead now. Give me another fucking assignment." He's going to be a cool character next movie along.

That entire part was horrible. It seemed like once they left the casino for good the movie got considerably worse.
