This came out of nowhere, a remake of Escape From NY? Gerad Butler is playing Snake though that is interesting. He HAS to have that gruff voice Russel's Snake in the movie had(and Snake in the MGS games stole, among many things from the first film) for it to work though.
One interesting thing is the Black Hawk Down writer is writing it and Escape From NY was basically a post-apocalyptic verision of Black Hawk Down in a way. Still, odd that this is getting a remake.
How long to MGS fanboys who never seen the original call this a rip-off of MGS?
