I just beat Dragon Quest 8:The Journey of the Cursed King.

I liked the game but it was kinda masochistic playing through it.It took me 83 hours and change to finish it also I did mostly everything in the game except the Dragovian Trials.

I beat the game twice to get the true ending(NOT WORTH IT!)

It wasn't too difficult but some bosses are certainly much harder than others.

I hated most of the music in this game except a few tunes.

There's nothing wrong with the traditional rpgs, as long as they're done well. DQVIII, like Skies of Arcadia, is the traditional Japanese rpg formula perfected to a tee.

This game pretty much bored the shit out of me. I stopped after 6 or 7 hours.

i liked it, it was smooth and relaxing.  not too tough, not too easy.  i liked the battle system and liked searching for and killing metal slimes

the loading was extremely slow so you have to be pretty patient, but overall a fun little game.

I didn't do that. I'm always leveling up in that because I love to explore the world, so by the time I came across a supposedly hard boss, I was up to level.
