I started getting uncomfortable during the sex scene so I got up and moved down the isle and up a row... pretty much an empty theater. Well a few minutes later my mom picked up her shit and walked out and I went to go see what was up cuz she didn't come get me and say she was walking out. Well apparently not only did she think the movie was shit and wanted to leave but was PISSED THE FUCK OFF AT ME and told me to "go to hell" for leaving her to sit by herself.

I'm like I ONLY FUCKING MOVED BECAUSE I FELT UNCOMFORTABLE SITTING NEXT TO YOU IN THE SHITTY MOVIE. She was really mad at me though and I didn't get to see the rest of the movie after the first 3 waves of Persian attacks.

What a fucking Nightmare. I hate my mom.

Well my mom was looking away and covering her eyes and being a dramatic annoying bitch. She did the same thing in Pan's Labyrinth whenever there was some gorey shit and it almost ruined the movie for me to be sitting next to someone I know is miserable and hates the fucking movie. It agitates me.

That's odd. I've gone to see some pretty explicit movies with family members (Kinsey, for example), and none of us got particularly uncomfortable. I've never even looked at it as an issue when I've gone to choose a movie to see (heck, my mom took me to see my first Bond movie, and those always have sexy scenes). I guess that's because we're all adults, though...probably different for a teenager and her mom.
