I've been cleaning some of my no longer needed/wanted stuff out of my room, and I thought it might be neat to send some stuff off to people as mystery packages or whatever you want to call them.

I'm not going to send completely useless shit. It'll be 'neat' stuff from me.

If anyone is interested, post here. I'll send out a package or two completely free of charge to you. I'll just need your address and you can be surprised by my old stuff.

I don't exactly know how large the packages I'm sending will be. I doubt they'll fit in a large box, though, I can tell you that much.

I've got a bunch of stuff lined up to send out, including a few brand new items. I plan on looking through some of my sealed containers in both my room and the basement as well, so lord only knows what I'll come up with.

Are you guys OK with FedEx and UPS?

I went to ship out the packages today, but I checked the USPS site for pricing first, and if I go with them I'll be spending like fucking $70.

Looks like UPS or FedEx can cut that cost in half (if I calculated it correctly at FedEx, it's going to be like $11.50 or so as opposed to the USPS's $20 for you California guys).

My mom is OK. Her blood pressure was through the roof when she went for her regular checkup, so they put her in the hospital for 2 days to monitor it and make sure there wasn't some really bad medical cause for it.

Father_Mike, FedEx fucked up somehow while I was there today. I spent probably 20 minutes filling out your customs form and everything, only to have the lady the cheapest she could ship it out was $91.68 via International Economy.

FedEx.com tells me I can ship it via International Ground for like $19.50, but something somewhere got fucked up and they were only going to let me ship it for $91.68. I'm going to head to the regular post office tomorrow to try and ship it out without it costing an arm and a leg, so we'll see how that goes.

Willco and G, I'll email you guys tracking numbers when I get home from class later. She told me it would take 5 day,s but I'd imagine she means business days, so you'll probably get your packages next Wednesday.

It's like a 9.5 lb package. The problem is that the lady ad FedEx fucked up somehow. FedEx.com tells me that International Ground from my zip code (18702) to yours is like $19.50. International Economy is $91.68 - the doofus there somehow didn't check the international ground price, and insisted that the $91 option was the cheapest. This was after I spent a shitton of time filling out your customs form
