You may now all say I am stupid for quitting my job without having something else lined up officially. Again. For the second time in six months.
Is there any reason why you made the same mistake twice? Do you think you'll ever do it again?
I dunno, I wouldn't have done it again except that the job that I interviewed for and the job I was doing were basically two completely different things. On my first day my boss said, "Oh, and we'll need to go over dealing with how to handle the residents requests and complaints." I was hired to do purely administrative, paperpushing shit at a nursing home. I was assured that dealing with the residents was something I wouldn't be doing, and then on the first day was told something completely different. I was supposed to be training for the first 90 days, and really only trained for the first month or so that I was there. The last two weeks I hardly saw my boss at all- she'd just say, "You're on this today" and then disappear for the rest of the day. Not my idea of being "trained", per se. So it wasn't a situation that I was going to put up with long term.
Then this other thing kind of opened up, but apparently it didn't. I suppose I should go back to school, I only really have about two years left anyhow.
