I'm blind buying Rocky Balboa! I figured since I love 1, and get some enjoyment from the others on a nostalgic level, I am safe.

I need to see it. The first Rocky movie is obvious a classic, great movie, but the sequels are hypnoticaly entertaining for some reason. They may be extremely campy with some pretty bad acting at times, but there's nothing like watching Rocky training mixed with flashback scenes of past fights or his current opponents. It gets you pumped, even if you know exactly what's going to happen.

Blood Diamond looks like an intelligent action movie with great acting. I know it got a somewhat mixed reaction from critics (despite all the Oscar nominees) but what does THE BORE think?

Batman Beyond lol. I remember when that show first came out and I was so showed it was "Y-14"

its a decent little drama about growing old, if you go in not expecting much you'll enjoy it. Better than average but I am unsure if it is worth owning.

Blood diamond was really good, its got good acting and a very good story. I was kind of thrown off the movie at first by the trailers and leo's accent. But I went ahead and watched it and came away very surprised that it wasnt nominated for more. Its a very good story something i've not seen before.

Balboa is a good movie as well but its not really about boxing. Its how one man must move forward with his life. I was expecting it to be about boxing. But then again i've never sat through a full length Rocky movie. But at the end i was glad i watched it.

Whens the good shepard coming out? That movie was fantastic.

Not a damn thing. In fact, I don't think I'm getting anything until Volver (Blu Ray) on April 3rd and A Scanner Darkly (Blu Ray) on April 10th. I've stopped all my anime DVD purchases until the next DDD 20% sale in June.
