It looks...okay. Standard DMC1 stuff going on there: knocking people up in the air and shooting them to death while they're in the air and crap. But nothing as good looking at DMC3's action.

What new things have they done is what I want to know. I've noticed that Nero stays in the air longer than Dante did in past game's. They weren't kidding when they said they'd put more emphasis on aerial combat.

It does look more like 1 than 3 though faster.

So there are two DMC4 trailers on the Japanese Playstation Store. The first one is 2:41 long, it appears to be the old one we've all seen before from TGS. The other one is 30 seconds, hadn't seen it before.

But, in any event, they're really pretty in 1080i on my HDTV.

How is that different than RE franchise? At least DMC3 was a big jump compared to the past two games. RE has only made one significant leap and evolution in it's entire life span and that's RE4.

I dunno, the jump RE made with RE4 was far bigger than the one DMC did with DMC3 imo.

the gameplay looks like DMC3 with the hand thing used to 'arrange' enemies for longer combos.

dmc doesn't have archaic gameplay; it doesn't need to change. there seems to be real time style change on this too, which adds more depth, variety and action than all of those re4 weapons combined.
