Hay guys I just started playing this game. Im convinced its pretty good. The gfx are lovely and smooth  :D  Awful characters and VA but thats forgivable as the game is pretty tight and well polished.  Apperently got a bit of hate from people who were expecting Advance Wars for GC... which is stupid really as the format of Advance Wars is pretty much designed for handheld and would seem a bit crap on a console IMO.

Any fans of BW here?

I thought once you got to the higher levels, where you control more units, the controls really get in the way of the fun.

That doesn't mean much.  Nintendo is notorious for sitting on finished titles so they can pad their release schedule over time.  And considering the vacuum that Wii future releases, I'm sure they'll want to space out first party offerings.

I dont get why people bitch about the controls... (I was reading impressions at Gamefaqs  :-*) why are they bad? Once you figure out exactly what every button does I found commanding large numbers of units to be totally straightforward.

If we're going to start pimping average titles that didnt make us barf, I would like to recommend Vexx, which I still own. Because while surprisingly average, it didnt make me barf.
