ff 12 is ok, there are some cool parts I like, but some parts I don't. I think the story progression is awesome, and I think Balthier > all... if he could just ditch the earrings, but whatever if he's gay it's fine.. he's still WAY cool.
The hunts are annoying as shit to me... and I just sit there and combo the fuck out of quickenings and kill bosses real quick.
I absolutely cannot STAND hunts. I get so annoyed at finding them, and even more annoyed if I don't just kill them right off with my quickenings.... and I HATE not being able to cure in a fuckin menu, that shit is rediculous. I also hate how when you cure, they take cast time, then they have this "action" that lasts about 18 fucking years to go away, and if you aren't controlling the character who uses cure, then you stand there like a bitch, ahhhh!!!!!!!!!
the game besides those is pretty awesome. It's classic final fantasy, the chicks (besides fran) are annoying as they possibly can be.. my main character deep down really is a female, and all of the dudes (besides of course the main character cheeseburger) are pretty cool.
sometimes they get a little gay in the text... like when the girl, little kid, or vossler are trying to talk all yoda style.
the battle system is a lot of fun, but it's hard to gauge sometimes how things are going to work out.... you can fight 6 guys at once and take em, then you fight one other guy who's just a little bit stronger and suddenly you're being raped. I think I've pretty much given up on casting heals during battle, potions are the only way to go.
