I got sick of the tedium of removing hair, so I stopped for several months, and got increasingly fed up with my hair, so I bought a kit of Nads for Men. It's this green sticky goop that you have to spread and use a cloth to pull the hairs out.
When I tried wax strips, I was very disappointed by the very limited number and use of individual strips. However, the jar of gel has an amazing abundance of the stuff that looks like it will last a very long time.
It's very icky and messy, but washes off extremely well, even in just water. I'd recommend working with it in the bathtub before you've turned the water on. No heating is required either. I'll usually just do it all in the bathtub, and then immediately take a shower afterwards, and make sure all the removed hair goes down the drain.
Another advantage is that it is much better at removing shorter hairs than the wax strips were. The wax strips recommended 1/4" length, and these recommend only 1/8".
The only do-it-yourself option that I see as being better and more efficient than Nads would be an electric epilator, but those are rather costly.
I also feel like mentioning that I absolutely love ripping out hairs, and the feeling of tearing out 100+ of these thick annoying hairs in one quick pull is absolutely orgasmic. I can't personally understand why people fear epilation so much. But then again, my perception of sharp pain has always bordered on pleasure.
Earlier today I had all these stomach hairs that I let grow out, and I coated them all in Nads, put the strip over half of all of it firmly. I grabbed, paused a second to build suspense, and yanked them all out. At first, there is no tactile feeling other than this ghostly sensation of intensity. Then after about 2 seconds, the area flares up in sharp burning pain, and I feel myself flutter in ecstasy all over, and then a second or two later it totally subsides, and I'm left with the feeling of several dozen empty relaxed pores, and a deep relaxation all over.
Also, I should mention that there is nothing wrong with being a guy and removing body hairs in my opinion. I'm not gay in the slightest. It's really comfortable and feels much cleaner. I shudder to think of all those thick hairs encrusted with all kinds of daily oils and grime. When you have long leg hair in particular, you'll be sitting down in jeans, and when you slide a little in your seat, the hairs get caught between the denim and your skin and start tugging on the follicles, which is really annoying.
I'm sorry if this was difficult for any of you to read, but this is what I felt like posting right now.
