T-U-R-T-L-E power
T-U-R-T-L-E power
T-U-R-T-L-E power
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

On a half shell they´re the heroes four
In this day and age who can ask for more
The crime wave is high with muggings mysterious
All police and detectives are furious
Cause they can´t find the source
Of this lethally evil force
This is serious so give me a quarter
I was a witness get me a reporter
Call April O´Neill in on this case and you better hurry up
There´s no time to waste
We need help like quick on the double
Have pity on the city, man its in trouble
We need heroes like the Lone Ranger when Tonto came pronto
When there was danger
They didn´t say We´ll be there in half an hour
Cause they displayed
Turtle Power!

T-U-R-T-L-E power
T-U-R-T-L-E power
T-U-R-T-L-E power
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

T-U-R-T-L-E power
T-U-R-T-L-E power
T-U-R-T-L-E power
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Now our ace reporter was hot on the trail
Determined to put these crooks in jail
She spied the bad guys and saw what happened
But before she knew it she fell in the trap and got caught
Yeah she was all alone
With no friends and no phone
Now this was beyond her WORST dreams
Cause she was cornered by some wayward fiends
Headed by Shredder they were anything but good
Misguided, unloved, they called them the Foot
They could terrorize and be angry youth and
They loved the people who needed proof
Then from outta the dark came an awesome sound
Shouted COWABUNGA as they hit the ground
From the field the weeds the heroes rescued the flower
Cause they possessed
Turtle Power

T-U-R-T-L-E power
T-U-R-T-L-E power

Power
When you stand for what you believe in
And find the strength to do what´s right
That´s Turtle Power

Heroes on a half shell they´re on a mission
When there´s a battle got the enemy wishin'
That they stayed at home instead of fightin'
These Ninja Masters with moves like lightnin'
They were once normal but now they´re mutants
Splinter´s the teacher so they are the students
Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Donatello
Make up the team with one other fellow
Raphael
He´s the leader of the group transformed from the norm
By the nuclear goop
Pizza´s the food that´s sure to please
These ninjas are into pepperoni and cheese
Back to the story it´s not hard to find
Ninjas not just of the body but of the mind
Those were the words that the Master instructed
But a letter from Shredder has Splinter abducted
That was the last straw spring into action
Step on the Foot now they´re gonna lose traction
Now this is for real so you fight for justice
Your shell is hard so you shout They cant dust us off
Like some old coffee table
Since you were born you been willing and able
To defeat the sneak, protect the weak
Fight for rights and your freedom to speak
Now the villain is chillin' so you make a stand
Back to the wall put your sword in your hand
Remember the words of your teacher your master
Evil moves fast but good moves faster
Than light
Shining from your illumination
Good versus Evil equals confrontation
So when you´re in trouble don´t give in and go sour
Try to rely on your

lol True but I've seen all the Live Action movies, some of the old series and a portion of the 2k3 series plus video games, toys and such.

That live action TV series wasn't half bad either.(Except Venus)

I saw it last night–fucking honestly, I don't understand how it's doing so poorly on RT.  It's a pretty damn good CG flick and, like, the best TMNT movie.  If you're a fan, go fucking see it and you'll like it.

I saw it last night and I can honestly say I enjoyed it. The plot was mediocre, but the movie was very watchable.

I only came away disappointed with the fact that my 8 year old self had no idea how lame Michaelangelo really is. That was like a total shock to my childhood.

Ahead of II and III, easily.

People keep referring to it as a better-than-expected movie... for an animated film.  Which doesn't really give me much confidence.  I loved the ninja turtles, but the same people raving about it are the same people that like that new cartoon.  And it sucks.  The likelihood is that the original, live-action movie won't be surpassed anytime soon.  There was a movie that got the turtle dynamic, didn't look silly and was certifiably awesome.  And it's aged well; I decided to buy it on DVD to watch with my previous roommates of equal age, and we all enjoyed it.

Go to it expecting TMNT the animated series and you'll be suprised at how good it is. DO NOT expect TMNT I quality. It's better than the 2003 animated series and TMNT II though.

1. TMNT ('90 movie)
2. TMNT ('07 movie)
3. TMNT II
4. 2003 Animated Series
5. TMNT  III
6. 1987 Animated Series

Maybe your a fan of Frank Miller i dont know. But i'm just saying your over analyzing whats seemingly just a kids movie. But its a damn good kids movie and you should give it a chance. Your not giving it a chance. Your being overly negative and jaded. So shut up already and go take becky out tonight and see the movie.

Uh, no.  I'm not over analyzing anything.  I saw people are like, "This is great... for a kid's movie" and I don't want to see a kid's movie.  Don't fault me because I'm 23-years-old and don't want to have to walk in a theater with my TMNT pajamas and leave with noticeable wet dream stainage on account of nostalgia.

A good TMNT film has already been done before - that's all I'm asking for.

Its not a sequel  :lol I view this as a seperate turtles universe. So the critics are wrong. This is a fresh start if you ask me. But it does borrow things from the movies and shows. And i still think your judging it too harshly. Your letting the media influence your perception of the film. Your a snob i'm sorry to say.

How am I letting the media influence my perception of the film?  I haven't even said anything about critical reception, as I've only mentioned the perception amongst fans online.  I don't care what critics say - the original was no critical darling.

And regardless of how you view it, Weinsten and Warner Bros. view this as a sequel, so you're wrong there too.

It's animated kid's fare.  Why would I pay money, especially when I don't have a lot to begin with and theaters are expensive nowadays, to see animated kids' fare?  Especially one that by the fan's own admission, is not as good as the live-action films and have to be viewed with somewhat lowered expectations.  No, that does not sound like a fun time to me.  I will eventually see it, but not for the cost of a movie ticket.

Yeah i should mention I saw it for free and i've been seeing all the movies lately for free since i work at a theater. So my perception is a little skewed. I do forget about movies being 12 bucks and shit like that. And yeah your right i wouldnt spend money on it or a lot of movies for that matter. I would be lucky to see 6-7 movies a year. But now that I get to see them for free i'm going whenever I can to see just about everything.
