In both the case of nyquil and energy drinks, it's really the aftertaste that kills me. Not the lingering aftertaste, but the immediate aftertaste when the shit slides down your throat. For energy drinks it's sort of a sharp bitter, whereas with nyquil it a sort of lower-key, but kinda nastier bitter.

Red Bull does have a bad aftertaste. I usually drink Monster.

The only aftertaste I can't handle occurs after I drink rum. That stuff is syrupy sweet puke in a bottle.

Been watching "Weeds" and drinking half a bottle of vodka and some Heineken. Pretty much the first time I've had a drink in over a month. I quit booze and caffeine in an effort to lower my level of anxiety. Since that was completely unhelpful, I'm going to get shit faced every single night until I die.

edit: by the by, holy shit at 1080P television.
edit 2: and holy shit at Rilo Kiley's "With Arms Outstretched" in the first episode and the New Pornographers in the last episode I watched.
