Erm, I played the online/offline demos for the Xbox version and didn't think it was that great. I know, different games, but that's the extent of my time with any Battlefield title

The console version of battlefield 2 is butchered. The PC game is FPS perfection. I have the PC version, don't have it installed at the moment though.

I was playing it practically everyday for a while toward the beginning of summer, but then I got fed up with 1.3 and it's random crashes to desktop.  I'll probably go back to it on a more regular basis if 1.4 irons out the bugs.  And I agree, it is FPS perfection.
