I have never said that to anyone, not even my grandma who always told me that she loved me.

Last night after the play her friend came over and they were really upset about another friend. My girlfriend feels like this friend is and her are growing apart and she started to cry. I had to calm her down and i kept telling her how great she was etc.. and she kept getting emotional and in the midst of it all I told her that I loved her.

Saying you lover her after a few weeks is VERY early in most cases but she is your first gf, have a ball. Just don't get too caught up. Your first almost never ends up being "the one".

This is something I realized last year:

A fatal mistake is telling your girlfriend that you love her if you don't mean it.

Those are words you hold on to unless you are positive. you don't tell her that shit over and over again either. If you do it too frequently, your relationship is going to crash.
