Jesus Christ WHY DOES THE GAME LAG TO CRAP WHEN I FIGHT THE LIGHTNING THINGS AT THE BEGINNING?

So many are coming and I'm like Oh shit! But can't fight because my computer lags. What the crap, it's just fine handling everything else.

What are some good settings? I thought my computer would be just fine playing it.

What? I don't upgrade pc parts and it should be obvious from my posts that I really don't care to upgrade at this point in time.

It should be, however, enough to run a 7 year old game. It runs Grim Fandango and many others perfectly.

I don't know man, thats one old Graphics Card. Are there any Video options so you can drop the visuals down a notch?

It ran perfectly fine on my 6600GT but I didn't play the game for long. Not really into the D&D system (I'm into my wacky jappy RPGs)
