People who are lonely are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer's disease, a large US study has suggested... The team found that the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease increased by 51% for each point of the loneliness score.

Just read the artical.

"What I find particularly interesting about this study is the fact that it is an individual's perception of being lonely rather than their actual degree of social isolation that seems to correlate most closely with their Alzheimer's risk."

So the more I think I'm alone, the faster it will all go away?   :hyper

You know Big Beard, high alcohol intake increases your risk of dementia significantly. So go at it!

That's why I started drinking vodka.

I've had some bad vodka experiences back in grade 7/8.

It also always makes me feel like complete shit the day after.

Maybe the problem wasn't what you were drinking grade seven, but simply that you were drinking.

I'm usually pretty good after a ton of vodka. Vodka and other clear drinks are best for avoiding hangovers.

ya, the main problem, it was the first time that most of us were drinking enough to feel anything, and we were drinking screw drivers and had no idea how much to drink.  so the the first 15 mins we were just throwing them back waiting to feel something.  This was of course 3 in the afternoon, in the summer while the mom was away, and on an empty stomic.

:lol That day before the vodka I tried making drinks that were just horrible - so my friends with out me knowing poured there drinks into my dogs food boll.  I have never seen a creature that out of it, he could hardly walk.   :lol

and just to make sure this thread doesn't get off topic, man I miss those guys.   :(
