I read people's opinions of the Arcade Fire's new album over at GAF (I know, lol) and they say how much they hate this album....but I jsut don't get it.  Not only is it tons better than Funeral, I also haven't taken it off my playlist since it's leak onto the interweb.  That's pretty good for my tastes (not like I'm saying my tastes are that developed or anything).  Ocean of Noise and The Well and the Lighthouse are so awesome.

And demi, stay out.  I know you want to troll it, but stay away you!  Go have more butsecks.

I want to give a gigantic HIGH FUCKING FIVE to BrandNew.  Fuck demi and fuck GAF, other than kablooey, who is the only other credible person I've seen that has said similar -- this album is better than Funeral in every way conceivable and should be pretty much cemented as album of the year unless the gods of rock and roll decide we have not been blessed enough already.

Alright, maybe I overreact slightly, but I do see any criticism outside of some shaky lyrical content as null and void.

Awesome.  I like, fucking LOVE the ending of that song.  The choral voices, the orchestra....it's really beautiful.
