So I saw TMNT again tonight

So I saw TMNT again. I think I was a bit too hard on it the first time. I don't know what it was. The fact I got there late and missed a good 10 minutes or because I went to a different theatre than usual where they serve you dinner in the theatre (waitresses kept interrupting the movie). I highly enjoyed it this time.

I gotta admit, I am pretty nostalgic over the original movie, and rewatching it on dvd tonight reminds me how cheesy it is compared to the new one.

I rewatched the first one the other night. I still think it is one of the better comic book movies ever made still. And it ain't nostalgia. I liked the second one MORE as a kid.

So did I. Then I realized it was stupid and I agree that it's still one of the better comic movies.

I don't see how the first one is cheesey though. It has Mikey's cheesey little jokes(MUCH less than the other 2) but other than that the movie takes itself pretty seriously. TMNT I is a very good 8.5/10 in my book.

If that movie was made today they wouldn't have the word bitch & damn in it which are found throughout the first film.

Yeah. Kids movies today are such pussies in comparison.

I remember saying this a lot when I was younger and my mom said not to repeat it. I always wondered what it meant!
