This elitist asshole attempts to give 7 "tips" to Lucas and Spielberg on how to make the next Indy be good. I'm sorry, but you lose your pretendious-asshole-who-most-likely-uses-a-Mac pass the minute you claim Last Crusade is the worse Indiana Jones movie....and Temple of Doom is the best.

Nothing screams "look at me I'm different" more than this. Ban this filth

he not only liked Temple of Doom, he thought it was the best Indy. I agree about cutting the age joke and telling Sean Connery/Gong Li to fuck off, though. And David Koepp? Everyone should be skeptical, regardless.

give the Indy 4 scriptwriting duties to me. Indiana Jones and the Brownhole of Bz will get asses in seats like no other.

If Raiders is the blueprint for the perfect adventure movie, and Last Crusade is the blueprint for the perfect adventure comedy movie - than Temple of Doom is the blueprint for the perfectly absolutely horrible adventure movie.

Intro scene with needless action. Chance meeting between hero and girl. Introduction to comedic tool side kick (who actually kicks ass in the movie). Escape scene. Out of the frying pan into the oven. BROWN PEOPLE. etc


That chick was so fucking annoying.

The girl was the only bad part of the movie, but I agree that she was terrible.  Everything else was great, though.

I'm serious.  Mine carts, still-beating hearts magically pulled out of people's chests, monkey brains, the opening at the Obi-Wan club, it was all AWESOME.  I loved it.

Last Crusade and Raiders are AMAZING films. Temple of Doom is a above average adventure movie which I enjoy purely because Harrison Ford running around as Indy is enjoyable.
