Give me reasons why this movie was awesome. Because I have a handful for why it sucked.

I loved every single moment of this movie, and was laughing very hard in the theatre. It's funny, gory, violent, sexy, scary, dramatic, suspenseful, foul, perverted; it rocks. What the fuck were you guys expecting, Titanic? It's SNAKES ON A PLANE! These movies are not meant to be taken THAT seriously! It's just for shits and giggles!

Fuck, man. This is not some drama or some epic movie. I'm not going to write a 10 page op-ed about why I think SoaP is a great movie. IT JUST IS. It's Snakes on a Plane, not Lord of the Rings. If you seriously have a whole list of reasons why you think it sucked, I feel bad for you. Because the things you hate were likely intentional, since the movie is, y'know, just for fun. But I will say they combined all of which I mentioned above very well -- for being a silly movie that is.

Wow people get emotionally attached to anything...most people who saw it felt dissapointed.  It just didn't deliver the camp that it promised.  I do have to question your taste in movies/humor if you find the concept of snakes on a plane along with a seasoned actor saying fucking snakes and planes is some kind of beyond funny thing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love "so bad they're good" movies. SoaP isn't one of these. It's a crappy, tired film that got a bit of attention and is now regarded as some undiscovered classic that has been shunned by the moviegoing audience. No, it's a piece of shit wrapped up in a pretty package.

Honestly, can you tell me you seriously enjoyed the film in between each "what did I tell you the first time we met?" coversation and the ending surf scene? Honestly? Because I think you're lying to yourself.

Sales are sales, but at the end of the day, movies are subjective like just about everything else. Unlike Internet sheep who cling to overall opinion about a movie like a baby sucking on it's mommy's teet, I'll still go see the movie for myself if I'm interested enough.
