It's obvious that he worships Dre, but it's not like he restricts his name-dropping to just Dre. He seems to love doing name-checks more than any other rapper I've ever heard. HE kind of reminds me of Denis Dyack, hoping that all the name-dropping will somehow make him as good as the people he's mentioning. Especially on Dreams, which is, again, very expensive and shiny and awesome sounding, it's like a shallow, emotional mining of hip hops big names of the past two decades. There's paying tribute to people you admire, but the degree to which the game takes it is absolutely ridiculous, nearly to the point of self-parody.
