i've called seven -- yes, SEVEN -- of them in the past hour and NONE of them ever pick up the phone. hilariously, four of the seven have a phone message that says "our office hours are between 8 am and 6 pm monday through friday" -- IT'S FUCKING 10 AM ON A TUESDAY, BITCH!!

maybe they are doing you a service. Cause those companies will rape you for money. Make sure to call them all up and get estimates dude. We were lucky enough to find some cheap mexicans that worked for a licenses and insured white dude. But damn it was still a lot of money.

Hell in my city we have ordinances that if a tree is X feet from a house or another property and is X feet high you have to hire a lisenced insured tree removal, lots of cities have them. We had two 40 feet trees around my old house and it cost thousands to remove. But theres no ordinances on pruning unless its near powerlines. Still big ass trees arent fun to take down.

yeah, because i wanna fell a tree on one of the six houses near me. we don't all live in a desert. two posters from this very forum -- strife doombringer and, er, i don't remember the other dude's handle, sorry -- came over to see if they could piece it out, but the tree is just the wrong combination of tall and spindly to do that easily. it requires a pro who is licensed and insured.

To be honest it was something I made up at OA to spite him and make fun of him. Little did i know it would stick. It was his self portrait that really did it though.

We first moved into the house my parents live in during the summer of 1991, and there were like 4 trees right next to the house. Like you couldn't fit between the tree and the house. The roots and stuff were causing problems and we had them removed.

There was a HUGE tree in our backyard, and it shaded the ENTIRE yard. I loved it. My mom hated it and wanted it gone and it was so big that they had to BLOW UP the stump.
