Holy crap, some channel called Ion plays The Wonder Years

They're on season 1 now. They played an hour tonight. The two episodes where Kevin gets the eeby jeebies over calling a girl, and the following episode where he asks out her out to a school dance and gets screwed over.

I was accidentally watching ION last night until Mama's House came on and I made a run for the gun cabinet.

They used to be called PAX.  I really don't know what they play, but knowing that they do play Mama's House makes me never want to find out.

Isn't PAX that channel that used to only ever play Touched By an Angel shows?

If you like this show and have any interest in keeping episodes, you'd better tape it or record it to DVD, because this (like WKRP) is a series that will never come to retail DVD in its intact original form.

Fox says its coming out in a boxset all 6 seasons with a retrospect documentary reunion special in the fall. It's to follow the tv airing of the reunion on tv.

ION channel is pretty cool, its actually got good movies on during the weekend. Rambo was on a few weeks ago, and Last Starfighter was on this weekend. Its like a feel good 80's network. With Bo-dog boxing as well which is the best free fighting on non payed cable.

Will it have the original songs intact?  I remember music rights issues being a big problem for this and WKRP.  If they're just going to replace the songs with generic tracks, I'll probably pass.  THe music is integral to the show.
