Oh yeah, I did buy Enchanted Arms (PS3), an extra Sixaxis controller, the PS3 Blu Ray remote, and Volver on Blu Ray. I guess there was some fun to be had.

Why do you think you wouldn't like it? If you moved to a big city you'd probably enjoy the nightlife and the culture. If you moved to the countryside you might enjoy it too, depending on your hobbies.

Well I don't know japanese for starters. Ive tried to learn and lost interest halfway through. Not a big fan of the food they seem to eat either. Other things as well.

You can live without knowing the language and learn it while you're there, being in an environment where you have to use it to get your meaning across really helps with motivation.

The food is great, even if you don't like seafood there's other stuff. You can survive, there's tons of western restaurants here.

I saw brand new copies all over Japan for 900 yen over the summer, I wouldn't be surprised if it was 400 yen now.

I've since lost all but the first two seasons, but I've seen them all so many times I think I'll give the Futurama a little rest for now. It's not like you can't watch like 4 episodes on any given weekday night anyway.

Plus I was a little girl when I saw the The Simpsons when it was in it's prime. A lot of the stuff went over my head then. Even though I can basically remember every single episode so far, I'm getting a lot more of the gags than I did when I was little. Every once in a while there's a gag I didn't catch the first time around in Futurama, but going back and watching these old Simpsons episodes is almost like a new experience.

Futurama DVDs are the only DVDs where I actually listened to the audio commentaries. Those guys are so geeky, even moreso than you would think watching the show.
