RPG mode is back and it has a .Hack feel to it.

The game is much harder than previous installments.

More than 50 playable characters.

Still no Arcade mode.

Developed by CyberConnect 2(.Hack lolz)

Maybe more impressions of RPG mode later.

I was really interested when Alpha 3 was coming out but I got scared off by the strategy elements.

This looks really good and since its OG theres a chance Atlus might be crazy enough to bring out over here.I just hope there isn't any secret licensed material in the game.

I'm not much of a Naruto fan, and the previous Narutimett games didn't really appeal to me. Is this game any different?

It seems you have to play Master mode to play Hero mode.

Little impressions....

I've put a hour and some change into Master mode so far and it seems to be pretty good.The battle system is very cool the first time you use it but it gets repetitive rather quickly,Naruto zips around the enemies in lighting speed and after a series of combos you can press X or triangle(depending on which comes up) to initiate another combo.

The platforming is kinda fun.

The story is about a girl that has to be a sacrifice or something to stop the Kagehoushi(SP?) and Naruto can't let that happen and stuff.

I think thats the gist of it....pretend its one of the things Naruto did during his two year training.

You need to play Master mode to be able to play Hero mode(Story).In RPG mode you collect memory fragments,you use those memory fragments to unlock sealed portions in Hero mode....

Fun.

If you have NH3 data on your memory card you start with 100.000 yen and most of the characters unlocked.

Uh PS3 version is closer to a port than the 360 version is. iirc the hardware VF5 runs on is closer to the 360 than it is the PS3. PS3 just got it first, but I am almost positive its been in the works as long. Plus I guess the 360 is getting the 'balanced' version C or whatever. If it keeps Pai and Vanessa from owning me every 5 seconds I welcome the change ;-)

Alright, sounds good. VF5 is on for a Q3 release, so we should be hearing some more definite stuff about it fairly soon.

I've heard there will be more items through quest mode. To be honest tho the PS3 version is really complete in terms of features, I cant imagine it being THAT much different aside from maybe some online stat tracking.
