A terrible film maker makes a terrible film? I know I've criticized him for doing as much, but tubby bitch needs to stick to the funny observational movies. Anytime he's tried to do anything that involves depth, like in Dogma or Chasing Amy, it's been absolutely shameful. And lest us not forget his attempt at a "hollywood" romcom dramedy thing, which gleefully illustrated the fact that he has no idea how to direct or pace a mainstream movie. Since he can't get something as cookie cutter as Jersey Girl right, I'm sure a thriller written and directed by him will be, well, let's just say if I were asked "thumbs up or train to Auschwitz" considering Kevin Smith, I'd have no problem letting him get vivisected.
