Well, as of the Unforgiven review, he's picked really bad reasons to hate a movie that is awesome, sort of like the hate for the Star Wars OT on this forum.

When I get home I'm planning on writing a point-by-point refutation of your review.  You pretty much missed the point on everything - from the purpose of the English Bob character, to the characterization of the kid who travels with Eastwood and Freeman, to the reason why Eastwood keeps repeating certain lines of dialogue.  I've never seen someone watch a movie in its entirety and yet completely miss every single thematic point presented within it.

He represents the romanticized figure of the American West as it appeared in dime-store novels, standing in stark contrast to the brutal, raw reality of the period as represented by Eastwood's William Munny.  The beating and subsequent banishment of English Bob symbolizes the de-mythification of the West which is one of Unforgiven's main themes.

This is obvious to anyone who actually tries to understand the movie instead of looking at it purely on its surface.

A. Drinky is far better.  When he posts, people actually take offense.  When pd posts, people just think he's homo.  I'm pretty sure half of what he's criticizing in games he hasn't played.
B. Movies aren't something he's good at watching.  Every time I think of him watching a movie I think of that one guy in Dawn of the Dead blasting hippies and distinguished black fellows and jumping into a room and shooting a black guy in the head with a shotgun.
C. Star Wars sucked ass.  Stop sucking your mother's tits.
