My nephew is spending Friday with me, and I told him that I'd take him to see whatever movie he wants to see, I figured he would've said 300 or Grindhouse (he's 13), but he wants to see ATHF. The trailer before The Host made me laugh, so hopefully this will do the same.

Well we havent gotten in the cans for the movie. Probably come in tomorrow. I'll give my opinion then.

I ran it by my sister, she was cool with it. He's a really well-adjusted thirteen year old, but, in any event, he doesn't want to see either. That actually works well, since I have zero interest in 300, and the wife and I are going to the Drive-In on Saturday night to see Grindhouse with some friends.

Totally agreed nowadays reviews are just not worth it to listen to. And I wouldnt listen to anyone's review of this movie cause ATHF is a love it hate it show. And if you dont love it your not gonna like the movie anymore.

These are reviews by fans of the show from AICN, though. Not exactly the most demanding of audiences. If even they were bored by it, I have little hope for it to be any good.

Oh come on. If Borat is being seen by 12 year olds in other countries, some CG violence won't scar him for life. I think I was 11 when I saw Gladiator in theaters. Then again, I haven't seen that movie in a couple years, so I can't remember how "offensive" that was.

Yeah, AICN has a few reviews up by people who watched the show. None of them liked it.

If anyone loves the show its me so I'll let you guys know how I like it when I see it. Its good in small doses god knows how it'll do as a 80 minute movie.

AICN is blocked at work, I just remember they said it wasn't funny and nobody really laughed during the screenings.

Anyways I'll believe it when I see it. an Hour 30 mins seems like its too much for an ep. of AQTF and I could see how it could get old but regardless..its AQTF. I don't care what some AICN peeps say I'm there opening night

Japan actually has Cartoon Network but I'm pretty sure ATHF isn't part of the lineup.

It's not, or at least it wasn't on over the summer. We had CN Japan in our hotel room in Miyajima.

I could see WOWOW showing ATHF late at night, though.
