Heres the single page instruction that got me into Vectorizing in Illustrator. All the knowledge (such as quirks with the Pen tool, auto filling, merging vectors) all was learned by working with AI over and over again doing various Vectors. I love how the products are so intuitive. You can do basic stuff but when your ready, the more advanced tools are sitting there waiting to be explored. But anyways...here it is...
