The singers name is Ray LaMontagne. He does a pretty good job covering the song, I actually like it better this way.

I was just telling my sister the other day how that line where he goes, "hahaha, bless your soul" sounds so out of place that it makes me laugh when I hear it -- it's like he couldn't think of anything else to say.

No, no, they weren't covers of Gnarles Barkley's "Crazy," they all just had their own songs entitled "Crazy," and I happen to think all of them are better songs than Barkley's (though his is good too).

EDIT: I'm stupid -- the DMB song wasn't called "Crazy," it's "Crush." Whoops.

Crush is way better than Crazy, but that's just because it's one of the best songs ever. Crazy is damn good, though, and I like "bless your soul." My grandma said that shit all the time.

That's a good cover, but how can you say that's a better vocal performance than Cee-Lo's??? 'Cause. . .it ain't. You must seriously prefer the acoustic guitar to the smooth 70's feel of the produced version.
