STILLWATER, Minn. -- A 17-year-old Minnesota girl is accused of stabbing her newborn baby 135 times in a "panic state." The baby was then tossed in the garbage.Authorities in Stillwater said Nicole Beecroft told them she gave birth on her laundry room floor Monday. When she saw the baby's finger move, she then stabbed the child, according to court documents.An autopsy determined the baby was born alive but was stabbed numerous times in the chest area and bled to death.Beecroft's mother said she didn't know her daughter was pregnant.Authorities found the baby after getting a tip. The investigation led to Beecroft's home, where they found the baby's body inside a trash bag, along with a knife and some towels.
