I went to Best Buy and had them test stuff on the tv I'm looking at. I thought it looked pretty good, and then the guy suggested we test out this other Samsung that costs about 200 dollars more. The difference was staggering. 1100 is the price and it's going to be my pick.
No interest for 12 months. I applied for Best Buy's credit card and got approved.
I have to get prepared for the hdtv by moving my room around. I'm going to take my desk out, as well as my bookshelves. I'm also going to to need a new entertainment center cabinet or whatever. If anyone has any suggestions it would really help. Since my desk is where all of my electronic hardware goes it needs to have ample amount of space. I like having quite a few consoles + satelite hooked up at the same time, so I'm going to have to ample room for my ps2, Dreamcast, Saturn, and Xbox along with my Xbox 360 Elite I'm getting with the set. There may be no reason at all to hook up my Xbox after all of this when I get the 360, and it could go in the closet along with my psx, snes, and Genesis.
Another issue I have is my collection. My collection is already taking too much space on my bookshelf. What's a good tower that holds dvds and games and doesn't take that much room? I have cd wallets for all of my games, but I like to have their cases out in display.
Lemme tell you what, this set is so...sexy.
