Is there a way to reboot my computer and keep all of the data on my HD?

I need to reboot my computer soon because I can't check my email nor can I purchase things anymore but I have some things I don't wanna get rid of.

No this is not the case.

Time from time I have to reboot the computer(I put in the OS disk and etc.)and whenever I do the data is wiped from my HD.Is there a way to keep my data and reboot my computer?

You mean you format the HD and do a clean windows install for time to time?

In that case the only way to save the data is to transfer it somewhere else, another HD or burn it to discs.
