All these "live from the scene of the cat 5 hurricane"-type reports are ridiculous imo. Do we
really need to see reporters battling 100 mph winds and being pelted by hail? Just once I want to see one of them get plunked in the head by a large piece of detritus on camera -- you know,
schadenfreude and all that jazz...

(I don't
actually want to see that happen, because I don't want anyone to get hurt, but if it would stop the asinine trend of sending reporters into the eye of the storm then perhaps it'd be worth it
