I figure I'll be too nervous to sleep anyway, so I might as well stay up and study for ten more hours.

It's a good thing I only need a 26% to pass this class. But I don't think I want a 26%.

I always say ok, STUDY at 6. Then 6 rolls around and I say ok, study at 7. Pretty soon it's midnight and I still haven't studied. So I'll say ok, sleep for 5 hours, then get up and study from 5 to whenever, then head to class and take the class.

So I actually end up studying 2 hours before class and fail. Meh $:-\$

My problem is that I can't study at home. Monday is the start of finals preperation so I'm just going to stay on campus and force myself to study; if I come home there's no way I'll get anything done.

Problem is I had less then two days between my last two exams, and I was beat yesterday. At least I studied for the last 12 hours.

People don't know how to act in a library.

And that's where I need to go. The sad thing is that after I do a good job studying I feel very good about myself - but I rarely study hard. Which means every other hour I start stressing, and at night I go through every possible negative scenero until I fall to sleep

As an undergrad and grad student, I'd always take my books and go sit in the most boring part of the library to study and do homework. I'd also make sure I'd leave my laptop at home so it wouldn't distract me.

Get some sleep so your brain can turn that short term memory stuff into long term memory stuff. That happens when your sleeping. So yes sleep is good for testing.

I tried to go to sleep, but I couldn't. That was a waste of three hours. I knew I wouldn't fall asleep!

As for the test, I'm pretty sure I passed. I had the highest grade coming in to the exam, but I likely won't after the final. $:-\$

edit: Well at least I didn't have to take the exam at Virginia Tech, so it could have been worse.
