In case you forgot, I made that thread awhile back saying my dog had died. I guess this past weekend my parents went out and picked up another puppy, same breed (albeit a red one not a blue one this time) and much younger than our dog was when we got him (at least that's how my brother made it sound, he's kind of spacey though).
Too be honest I don't know how I feel. My parents always say they don't have much time and I hope that this wasn't just a knee jerk thing because my mom was feeling lonely. My parents are smart responsible people so I think they'll do the right thing here. I just hope that they're able to care for this dog properly, the breed is generally very high energy and high maintenance. Our old one was pretty low energy but my parents I think know the reality of these dogs.
All that aside, I feel like this could be really awkward for me going home. I won't even be used to my dog not being there, and now there will be this strange new dog. I don't know, thoughts?
