Popcorn, Nuts, & Candy

So instead of eating the things in the title i thought it'd be interesting to find out what you guys like. Since theres so many types of flavors and styles.

My personal favorites:

Popcorn: Toffee Crunch, Cinamonbun
Nuts: Dry Roasted Peanuts, Cinamin Roasted Almonds and Peanuts, walnuts
Candy: 3 Musketeer's, Resses Pieces

I hate popcorn, as well as any food that involves more work than pleasure of consumption.  Ten minutes of yummy buttered popcorn equates to at least two hours of trying to work those husk bits out of my teeth.  I gave up pomegranate on the same principle.

Nuts:  Mmm.  Salted peanuts (not dry roasted, heathens), almonds, pecans.  Does coconut count?  <3
Candy: I love chocolate.  I think that's genetic.  I'll eat just about any kind of candy as long as it isn't gummy.

I used to love gummy bears and shit then i found out how many calories they have in them OMG they are loaded.

Really?  Well, I'd imagine, since I think they just melt and concentrate sugar to get that consistency.

It's the texture of gummy things I won't go near.  I'm extremely picky about what I'll eat. Anything vaguely rubbery is out, no exceptions.

I like the plain popcorn you can buy in the grocery store that you make in an air popper. 1/4 cup basically pops a whole bag's worth yet it has under 110 calories and 1g fat. A whole bag's worth of buttery bagged popcorn has like 40g fat at least.

Pine Nuts and Cashews are the best.

I don't eat enough candy to really have a favorite. The solid chocolate mini-eggs sold at easter are nice to have once a year.

Nuts: Planters Mixed Nuts
Candy: Almond Joy, Caramello, Cadbury Creme Eggs, Snickers, Baby Ruth, Milky Way, Butterfinger, Twix, Rocky Road, various others.

Health tip: Never put EXTRA butter on your movie popcorn. It has tons of fat to begin with. When you squirt more on, it's ~14g of fat per squirt.

I don't get my popcorn with that nasty goop butter, but I have tried some before and I know what you mean. When I was a kid, that pain used to make me cry.  :'(

I used to pass them off as being inferior, likening them to cheap knock-off candy.  But I was wrong.  I believe it was last year sometime when I realized their divine marriage of chocolate-malt nougat and caramel.

Love the butter.  Can't get enough. 

Also, I like to sprinkle my popcorn with garlic salt.  Probably way too much.  My tongue is raw afterwards

Popcorn: just either plain popcorn or the light butter microwave variety.
Nuts: Cashews or Honey Roasted Peanuts. If they count, any sort of nuts coated in chocolate are generally pretty good.
Candy: I could write a book on candy. All-time favourite would have to be Air New Zealand's complimentary hard-boiled lollies, closely followed by Jolly Ranchers, Mackintosh's, Tangy Fruits and Milk Bottles. If chocolate counts, I'm a fan of Kit-Kats, Milky Bars and Milky Ways (for some reason the galactic theme resonates particularly well with me).
