Thanks for the help, EB

I asked for some advice last week when I was freaking out about my exam.  I calmed down a bit after my vent.  A couple of you really gave some good advice.  Demi's advice of repeating stuff to myself helped a lot.  MAF's advice to just "suck it up" like an adult also helped me to focus on what I needed to do.  Most of all, I have to thank Scurvy Stan for his comment that I'll have plenty of time to mess around after flunking out of med school and working at Olive Garden.  I got a good laugh out of that but it really motivated me even though it's unlikely I'll be working at Olive Garden even if I did drop out.  The thought of messing up and working at some crap place trigger my dumb ass to start studying.  I don't know how I studied 3 weeks of material in 3 days but I was able to do it.  I just wanted to thank you guys for saving me from working the rest of my life at Olive Garden.

I just found out today which is why I haven't jumped off a bridge.  I scored several points above average.  That test was pretty messed up.  The class average was only about 70% which is the bare minimum for a pass.  A 70% average means that quite a few probably failed.  The school will most likely curve it though as they don't want too many to fail.

Wise words.  Grasshopper has learnt much from you, Master Angry Face.

For some reason, that phrase sounds very familiar.  Did you get it from a fortune cookie?   :)

No, its just sorta what I tell myself whenever I have to do something I don't want to do but honestly need to do.
